Please read this information carefully before applying to the MIDA FINNSOM Health project Security Conditions for MIDA FINNSOM Health participants The security of all project participants will be the responsibility of the host institution and the participants themselves. All selected participants will agree and sign a security plan with their host institution, which will need to be followed throughout the MIDA FINNSOM Health assignment. IOM will provide support and advice on safety and wellbeing of the project participants, but cannot take a role in guaranteeing their security. In cases where it is assessed that the security situation in the location of a project participant is deteriorating, IOM will advise him/her to evacuate and will make all the arrangements necessary for the relocation. Relocations can be either within Somaliland and Puntland, or back to Finland. If for personal reasons, the participant wishes not to evacuate, s/he can stay in the location by signing a ‘waiver to remain’ but his/her participation in the project will be cancelled. Travel Arrangements IOM will make all necessary travel arrangements for the participant from Finland to his/her final destination, and back. The travel bookings will be done on the most economic connection available in accordance to IOM global airline agreements. Travel will be organized directly from Finland to the final destination. Private stays in transit destinations will only be allowed on the return travel to Finland.
